Yesterday my dad and his wife Brenda entered the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. In a week they will leave for a 18 month proselyting mission to Bucharest, Romania. It's hard to think that we won' t see them for that long and that when they return, Jack will be almost 5 and Theo almost 3. They were as excited as 2 adults could be though, which made the good -byes easier. It's strange already to have them gone as their home was the most frequent meeting place for all of my side of the family. We'll see how strong our sibling "glue" is with them away... (By the way mom, I'm not forgetting that your over there in NH. We'll see you next week!) We miss you guys so much already but are very excited for your new adventure!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!

Man, that's pretty sad. I mean, cool that they are going, but sad to miss the time with the boys. Romania is over there on Mike's old stompin' grounds. I think they should run into a lot of gypsys.
ha, for a second i was like, "they look so familiar!" and then i realized why. they must be so excited!
Such a cute missionary couple. I bet Jack will love telling everyone about his grandpa the missionary.
They are setting such a great example for their family! They will be great and will have such awesome stories to tell.
Jennah I am so glad you have a blog! We so need to keep in better touch and let our kids be able to see pictures of their cousins. Your kids are so photogenic. Will we see you this summer? My mom and dad left for a mission to Mexico in January. It is definitely a happy and sad time. I am just hoping we get some of the blessings from their service. j/k
Alright Jennah. Here's the tough love. Post. pictures. Now.
or you are out of the family.
That's awesome...we wish them luck! Elijah wants to say to Jack: "Thank you for my birthday present. Happy birthday! I'm missing you. I'm tracing my hand on a piece of paper. Grover's music was loud on Sesame Street, and it waked him up. See you later, alligator."
