I think it would have been a major sin if we had just hung out on the couch today(looking either unnaturally happy or rather stunned). So instead of just hanging out at home, we decided to check out a few of these...
I think I was a bit inspired by you, Elise. And although there was a bit of construction going on, the weather was perfect and the kids were nearly perfect too. 
Theres nothing like watching animals to keep the kids entertained. Here's Jacks list of what we saw. "We saw stinger guys (??), zebras (no, we actually didn't), elephants, silly guys that danced around (cranes), giraffes, fish and a sprinkler, humm. I think we better go to it again next year so we can go to it for 2 days. But why did they not have rhinoceroses? Thoses are animals, mom. I like them. I want to see what they're like."

Super cute! I love the zoo! So, I love your post because a)you have a picture of a very mysterious animal of who's identity I can not decipher and b) Blake looks SO excited in his picture! Does he love that you put pictures of him on your blog? I bet he gets as excited as Mike does about mine. hee hee hee. Your boys are seriously so beautiful. Lovin little Superman.
We'll have to venture up there sometime! I love to hear Jack's comments. I never get to actually hear him speak, so it's fun to hear all that he has to say!
