My Jack is 3! YIPEE! YIPEE!

It's my big boy's birthday! Where has the time gone? Granted for his 3 years I've easily aged 7 but it seems like just yesterday Blake and I were checking into the U of U Hospital eagerly awaiting our 1st. Since I'm a big fan of the lists, here is a moderate one with some of the reasons I think my boy is the greatest:
1. He has great hair
2. He reminds me to excuse my self should I happen to burp
3. He draws amazing monster pictures
4. He too loves baby Rice cereal
5. He is our personal safety patrol officer and cautions us as we walk out the door to not slip on ice, drive carefully, hold onto the railing when we walk down-stairs, use caution with the outlets, etc.
6. He has "dreamy eyes"
7. He can wiggle one eyebrow at a time
8. He knows the days of the week and all the months of the year but never remembers number 16 when he counts and denies its any thing but el-em-ello-p when he says the alphabet
9. He calls himself J-dog and his brother T-bone
10. He could sit for hours and listen to books being read
11. He thinks that all I need to look pretty is to put a bow in my hair
12. He has special toes and a chipped front tooth
13. He "banishes" people when he's upset with them (that's called too much Peter Pan)
14. He's infatuated with lava and is always asking what you get when you mix lava with:ice-cream, fire, snow, apples, etc.
15. He knows what "affiliated "means
16. He made me sicker than I could have ever imagined while pregnant then proceded to make me happier than I could ever have imagined!!!
I LOVE MY JACK!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK-A-ROE!!

You speak the truth about your Jack. He does have fabulous hair and a great smile. My mom loves that he will sit and let her read to him in nursery. And I personally love the fact that he knows the word affiliate. Such a smart boy. Happy Birthday Jack!

Oh my gosh- for a second I was like, "Wow, Theo really changed" Then I realized that was Jack. He was so chubby, and cute. I can't believe it has been three years since we had those guys. I am very jealous that he will sit and listen to books. We have to skip lors of words so that we can keep Evan interested as the pages turn.
(Well, let's just not compare.) Congrats little mama. Ready for #3?

it took me a second to realize the first pix was jack too!! loved reading through the list. i'll have to do some find out about the toes; half my kids have been blessed with special "hinckley" toes (it's a discussion among my sisters-in-law and myself about who of the cousins inherited it).

anyhoo, jack is a sweetie and such a smart boy! glad he loves books, and yes, yes, the hair is to DIE for and those eyes are dreamy (but we all already knew that), i enjoyed learning about him. i'm now trying to figure out how i can incorporate some type of "lava" like activity into music time in nursery.

Oh man-i thought that was T-bone in the first pic too! It's crazy how time flies! Sawyer just turned 2 and ella 5. Can you believe that? 5! That means kindergarten...
Jack is dreamy! I love your lists, Jennah-keep 'em comin'! PS could you please move back to Utah now?
Miss you guys,

He is so much deeper than he lets on at playgroup! I love his hair and all these great qualities that you listen. But what else would you expect with such amazing parents? Happy Bday Jack! It's great to be 3!!
