What having sick children makes you thankful for...

So, this week the boys were sick with nasty head colds; the type with the runny noses that you just cant keep up with and coughs that sound like train wrecks. You know the kind. It made me stop to think (in between handling sticky tissues and trying to wash my hands before running to catch the next gush) of all that I have to smile about...
1. A husband who is willing to get up in the middle of the night to sooth a crying child. Without complaining.
2. A husband who never gives me grief when the house is a disaster or that dinner doesn't get made that night.
3. A baby who will smile between coughs and regardless of the fact that he has boogers smeared across his cheeks.
4. A boy who actually loves washing his hands.
5. Chlorox ANYWHERE spray
6. A hot shower
7. Rent that includes the heat!
8. Cuddling my kids. (It's about the only time they let me)
9. Knowing that cold are transient and were usually blessed with excellent health. That keeps me going...
